Gerald E Jones, FRPS, a collection of photographs


Collection of 28 bromoil and gum bichromate prints of varying sizes. Gerald E. Jones belonged to the Pictorialist movement and his impressionistic works cover a range of artistic subjects and studies including architecture, landscape, farm scenes, maritime subjects, and portait studies.

Gerald Edgar Jones of Auckland (F.R.I. B.A.). Born Wellington 29 August 1880. Elected Fellow of Royal Photographic Society, London, 9 December 1912. Senior partner of the firm of Jones and Palmer Architects. Exhibitor at the London, Paris, Berlin, and American International Photographic Salons.
